One of my best friends had been homeless since 19. His folks sent him to Germany for graduation. 9 months later he was alcoholic. He has his integrity in tack. Wonderful spirit. He is 41, still drinking, lives on the fringe but opened my eyes to homelessness. Homelessness become a habit. He cant seem to feel comfortable with more.

I owned many rental properties over the last 20 years, and it would be a dream to evict a tenant after being 8 days late. Sorry, it just doesn't happen, and there is no way this happens in CA. Google it. This guy is bullshitting up a storm, and the camera guy is buying it hook line and sinker.
11 November 2018, 08:13
Yup, sounds like his fault
3 November 2018, 17:37
Notice how all these homeless "professionals" live in CA...

There a simple reasoning to view homeless people for what they are. Just ask yourself all things being equal whats different between them and you and put yourself in their shoes. If you hypothesis of why homeless? Drugs, fire, medical, etc. They have no family, friends, or acquaintances that would take them in? The only reason those people wouldnt help is because the homeless person has "burned that bridge".Personnel example, a relative of mines was incarcerated and came out "clean" as a parole requirement he need to live somewhere, father accepted him into the house. First weeks fine. But, old habits creeped back. Drinking, drugs. Final straw was bringing prostitutes into the home and getting into fights witb them. They are homeless because, they choose it.

So where is your savings from being a banker
11 October 2018, 23:13
There's money in finding excuses for pharma drugs but not money in making an American better? When we know it's been corporations who were "supplying" the Constitution when the Constitution was already done centuries ago. It became an investment if you were part of old eu; then they grabbed, snatched and collected.

A lot of these homeless people take no responsibility for their part in their own problems. Sounds like this guy was likely abused and neglected as a child and had a terrible life, but most of his recent problems are mostly his fault it sounds like to me. I wonder what he's done throughout his life to improve things? Has he ever taken therapy? Of course his daughter's problems are all his wife's fault, right? Come on. Stop lying to yourself. You're at least partially responsible for where you're at.

Not all homeless have a horrible back story.. Questionable stories... Drug and mental issues....I have none of this. I was very successful for many years. I'm not sure if I will eat tomorrow.

Used to be a banker another BS story if he worked at a bank I could buy that maybe he worked for a month or two then quit this is a typical sympathetic BS story that homeless people use quite often I used to be quite successful but by no fault of my own something horrible happened and now my life is in the shiter this is just another person who's made a choice to live as a homeless person seeking to be a victim and living off the goodness of other people there sympathy they're too lazy to go out and find a job or they just simply don't want to work this is a choice of their own they want to be homeless they want to be pitied and they want people to make excuses and give them things I don't give a s*** just stop complaining
2 October 2018, 23:53

Evil people at work cost him his job. Giving rent a week late cost him his apartment. Floods in the midwest drowned another career pursuit. Storage people auctioned his shit because he was a couple weeks late on payments. Sorry, little to none of that happened.

All Welfare gives you $408. dollars a month to live on and they put you in a work fair program. You work for that little $408 month check! Which is below the minimum wage wage! It's slavery to make you work for that little bit of money!

It is my belief that on most places on earth and particularly in America, if you put your head down and work and plan for the future, you can build a life. Oh and don't trust anyone.

He sounds like he's full of excuses. The mofo was a "banker" and was unable to save money. His biggest fault was making all the wrong choices in life. If he keeps up that victimhood mentality, he will remain on the streets.

Most kids who are treated poorly by parents in various ways(often consigned to attending to chores that aren't required of their other siblings, and such) learn to feel a sense of being less valuable and unequal to folk in general. We find that many of these kids escape their home environments as preteens and teens to find freedom from oppression, hoping that taking to the road will bring them to a place "outside of and distant from their pain, hoping to fill the void of love within that they could not receive from their loved ones. So they journey from place-to-place(never settling very long anywhere) in search of a place that they can never truly call home, because they've never known what a real home was. Home is where the heart is(we've heard this before) -- not a physical place outside of one's self, and yet, a place that is closer to each of us than the very beat of our hearts. The heart is truly an unfriended suitor, seeking to find it's true love within . . . from without. Hence, when most of these lone wolves strive, it's never based upon anything sustaining, so they inevitably degenerate into a condition of inconsistent or complete lack of self-reliability. Intelligence has nothing to do with mental illness any more than one's title has to do with the overall integrity of a person. And though many homeless have become like the-living-dead, having given up on the faith that life can be far more than short-lived stability and temporary ease of pain, some will come to know that the unfolding of their exploration is the needed path to the discovery of their greatest treasure -- their True Presence, which is a love and understanding that they "ARE" the acceptance that they have always sought. And the best thing about it -- "It Never goes away."

And Obama only brought misery and a downward spiral, so I hope he's still with us.
