14 April 2019, 06:06
i have the gmt and i want the no date sub. you are a lucky guy.
6 April 2019, 18:26
All you're missing now is an Annual calendar! Beautiful rolex :)
6 April 2019, 08:56
Do you think the sub is more comfortable? I think the gmt is more comfortable to wear
3 April 2019, 10:19
EXCELLENT comparison video

Sub with date
14 March 2019, 17:30
Where’s the lume shot
12 March 2019, 16:53
Prefer the Sub but I want the Date!
1 March 2019, 17:16
Im not into watches..but i can appreciate them..a good Rolex use to be under £1000 now its all hype..678 thousand now...
1 March 2019, 07:38
No date Sub for sure. I'm biased because that is what's on my wrist.
26 February 2019, 06:40
Neither maybe day date when I’m older
26 February 2019, 00:00
Dude youre full of it. If youre going to the beach to swim, play some beach volley etc you dont bring your submariner unless youre fine with scratches etc. You can tell your sub hasnt been through anything worse than sitting on your wrist when walking the city streets.
18 February 2019, 19:12
Loving my GMT M. IIc because it's got everything! Tried living with a no date watch years ago and didn't work out. The new sub looks silly on my small wrist with that huge clasp. I'm happy enough with Easylink. Perfect daily watch IMO
1 February 2019, 03:54
This is very easy....no date submariner....classic classic classic.....always stay with a divers ....now the 1675 pepsi old school not that new stuff...jubilee...huge respect for 1675.Remember this, the rolex submariner is the best watch in the world period.
25 January 2019, 05:33
Great review. How have the polished center links held up on the GMT over time?
23 January 2019, 00:21
It's not called "no date", it's simply a Submariner. If it has a date complication, it's a Submariner Date. You'll never hear anyone within the Rolex organization use the term "no date".
21 January 2019, 00:46
GMT all the way!!

17 January 2019, 15:12
gmt master ii for me.. no question.. ;)
16 December 2018, 16:39
no chronograph. lame.
14 December 2018, 05:56
I'll take the submariner with date, any time. I also had both.
7 December 2018, 13:24
GREAT ROLEX SUBMARINER VS ROLEX GMT MASTER II WATCHES !!!
4 December 2018, 09:17
Both are great watches. But the no-date Submariner (and Day-Date Platinum 36) is the winner for me.
3 December 2018, 09:12
you have the 2 best Rolex. I heard the GMT is 1 mm thinner, so since you did not mention it, there is not a noticeable difference, right?
23 November 2018, 00:12
Nice video! Looking at the condition of them , you definitely look after them, you say that you don’t baby them, but you do compared to most. I’m not such a fan of the polished centre links. With regard to the Submariner having the best clasp, have you seen the Tudor Pelagos one? Like the Subbie it has huge adjustment so it can go over a wetsuit covered arm, it also has a setting that expands automatically with the flexing and expansion of your wrist. Keep up the good work....jealous of your watch choice!
18 November 2018, 13:49
are the 2 bezel inserts the same size, as in interchangeable with each other?
14 November 2018, 23:13
I have all of the Rolex divers (Sub, SD, Deepsea), GMTs, and others. You can see my Rolex collection on my channel. My SD 43mm 50th Anniversary "Red Line" is my favorite.
12 November 2018, 08:27
Sub for sho
10 November 2018, 02:18
I think the submariner as a whole looks better, but I’d probably buy the gmt just because it’s slightly different
31 October 2018, 06:26
Just got the black GMT and so happy with it. Now I know the GMT have to be carefully to wearing more than carefree but I love it lol
28 October 2018, 22:55
i have a rolex badman just love it
28 October 2018, 16:35
Nice video! I go through this with my Batman and Hulk; I feel the Batman is a scratch magnet therefore I tend to default to the beautiful Hulk more often then not as it is more versatile
17 October 2018, 15:05
I just got the GMT, knowing what you just taught me i would pick the submariner. My gmt is hard to open the second step on the clasp. I have to take a small knife to pop it loose. The little tang needs to be bent one way or another. In my opinion anyway.
16 October 2018, 22:56
Id take the gmt with the bezel from the sub
25 September 2018, 20:26
I love my NoDate, still one before the model change in 2012, and I don"t care if I bang it here or there, as a sports watch it has to be able to deal with that, it is built like a Tank after all , and is one of the few watches that can keep up with my lifestyle, I am a professional diver and I love the outdoors, hiking , hunting, trekking, and my watch does this all.
22 September 2018, 12:53
oh come on "if im running late I would prefer the Sub because I can just unscrew the time and ill be out" no one uses rolexs for telling the time or any of these features. everyone looks at their phone for the time. if that was the case everyone would buy a Casio for $10 and save their money. its simply about looks and the GTM looks way better, I mean look at the bracelets for a start.
19 September 2018, 05:01
I was told by a Rolex tech to lay it on the crown when resting the watch on it's side - not a huge deal but he said it's the way he always sets them down.
19 September 2018, 00:50
Nice watches mate
17 September 2018, 10:19
Nice vid! Thinking about getting a GMT
26 August 2018, 15:30
Just picked up my GMT Master 2 all black. Wanted the Batman but it was around $1500 more expensive plus the dealer aren't sure when it will be available. But its nice all the same.
17 August 2018, 23:05
Its 60 click
6 August 2018, 17:44
The sub the sub the submariner the submariner the sub the submariner submariner the submariner.
28 July 2018, 19:32
For more Rolex watches without that ugly ass cyclops! That's what the people want!
14 July 2018, 20:25
Thank you. Excellent review. I just ordered my Sub No Date on 7/3/18. My five-year-old Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot Day/Date stopped working two weeks ago. It was out of warranty and would take two months to fix, so I bought what I always wanted, a Rolex. It took a very long time to research and find which Rolex model and my price point/range. Even though I love my Oris I would never ever by an Oris watch again. Warranty repairs were months and months, a nightmare for things that should be been right before the watch was ever sent out to the factory the first time. In the end, it was never repaired perfectly. Not sure how Oris stayed in business since being founded in 1904. I'm glad I paid only $1500 for the watch and now $350 for the current repair.
12 July 2018, 05:59
Do you still happen to have both pieces? I'm thinking of doing the exact reverse you did; currently have the 116710LN but want to add the 114060 for daily wear. Trying to mentally justify potentially having both lol.
8 June 2018, 07:07
I wouldn't call it an aviation piece...it's a watch for travelers (or the traveling executive). Not sure why you'd call it an aviation other than it might be a watch worn by pilots so they can remember the time in their home country?
7 June 2018, 00:00
For my money, these watches look way to similar. I would want a submariner and a datejust.
25 May 2018, 01:41
Why does the sub looks smaller than the gmt?
22 May 2018, 22:14
Wow..thanks. Good comparison. I thought that I was interested in the new GMT II, having already owned a Sub for over 10 yrs. So maybe not so much Now. 👍👍 the Bi direction bezel feels cheap compared to the Sub bezel.
21 May 2018, 23:11
The GMT is my grail watch, preferably in black/blue. I travel a lot, mostly around Europe but also further afield, so the dual time zone function is a big selling point. For the same reason I also like having the date function, although I will admit I have a love/hate feeling about the cyclops, mainly due to how it looks kinda weird when a hand passes through it, which I guess you’d notice more often with the additional hand of the GMT. But I’d definitely take the Sub’s all-brushed strap, with that higher level of adjustability, that’s a great feature.
